Terms of Service for Viselia

1. Who This Agreement Covers

These Terms apply to everyone who visits our website or uses our free resources, whether or not you create an account (“Users”). If you use the Service on behalf of a minor, “you” includes both the parent or legal guardian granting consent and the minor for whom the Service is being used. The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from unsupervised minors.

2. What Viselia Is — and Isn’t

Viselia is not a government body, embassy, consulate, or visa-issuing authority, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government. Using our Service does not constitute legal or immigration advice, and nothing we publish is a substitute for advice from a qualified immigration attorney or the official guidance of the relevant embassy or consulate.

No visa outcome is ever guaranteed.The decision to approve or deny a visa application belongs entirely to the embassy or consulate of the destination country. Viselia’s role — whether through our free resources or our paid concierge service — is limited to helping you prepare a complete, correctly formatted, and timely application. We make no promise, express or implied, about the outcome of any application you submit.

3. Free Resources and Concierge Services

Viselia offers two categories of service:

• Free Resources. Document checklists, cover letter templates, country visa guides, and processing-time estimates are made available to all users at no charge and without a sign-up requirement to browse. Processing-time data reflects aggregated experiences reported by users and is provided for general planning purposes only — it is not sourced from, or verified against, official embassy processing guarantees, and actual times will vary.
• Concierge Services. Paid, human-assisted support (such as document review, application guidance, or a dedicated specialist) is available for an additional fee, as described at checkout. Concierge Services are governed by these Terms plus any specific scope-of-service description presented to you at the time of purchase.

4. Accounts

You may browse our free resources without creating an account. To use the client portal, save your progress, or purchase Concierge Services, you’ll need to register for an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@viselia.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Your Relationship With Us

When you purchase Concierge Services, you’re entering a direct customer relationship with Viselia for that specific service. You consent to our use of electronic communications — including email, chat, and phone — to communicate with you about your account and any services you purchase, and you acknowledge the inherent risks of transmitting data over the internet.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure, and you provide your information at your own risk.

7. Your License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purpose of preparing your own visa application. You may download and print our free resources for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our checklists, templates, guides, or any other Content, or claim them as your own work product for third parties.

8. Our Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including our checklists, templates, guides, processing-time data, website design, logo, and the “Viselia” name (collectively, “Content”) — is owned by Viselia or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 7, you don’t get any rights in our Content or the Service. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our Content or platform, except as expressly permitted here.

9. Content You Submit

If you submit information to us — for example, through a form, an account profile, or communications with our concierge team — you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You retain ownership of the personal documents and information you submit for the purpose of receiving Concierge Services; we use them solely to provide the service you requested, consistent with our Privacy Policy. If you post reviews, testimonials, or other public feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with promoting the Service, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in connection with a visa application prepared with our assistance;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data that isn’t yours;
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download our Content using automated tools;
• Resell or redistribute our free or paid Content to third parties for commercial purposes;
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with Viselia;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

11. Third-Party Links and Content

Our Service may link to, or reference, third-party websites, embassy portals, or service providers. We don’t control these third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Your dealings with any linked third party are solely between you and that party, and are governed by that party’s own terms — not these Terms.

12. Paid Services, Billing, and Refunds

• Pricing.Prices for Concierge Services are shown at checkout and may change at any time; changes won’t affect an order you’ve already placed.
• Payment. You authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the full amount of your order, including any applicable taxes.
• Refunds. Refund eligibility depends on the stage of work completed on your order at the time of your request. See our Refund Policy for details, or contact us at info@viselia.io before purchasing if you have questions.
• No guarantee of outcome. As set out in Section 2, payment for Concierge Services covers the preparation and review of your application — it does not purchase, and can never guarantee, a visa approval.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT PROCESSING-TIME ESTIMATES, EMBASSY REQUIREMENTS, OR OTHER INFORMATION WE PUBLISH WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR UP TO DATE, AS GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING CURRENT REQUIREMENTS WITH THE RELEVANT EMBASSY OR CONSULATE BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VISELIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST TRAVEL COSTS, VISA FEES, OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY VISA APPLICATION OUTCOME. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON’T ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Viselia harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or inaccurate information you provide in connection with a visa application.

16. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 8, 10, 13–16, and 18 — will continue to apply.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service or legal requirements. We’ll update the Effective Date above when we do. If changes are significant, we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify registered users. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact us at info@viselia.io so we can try to resolve the issue informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amtsgericht Mainz — unless applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

19. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order-specific terms shown at checkout, make up the entire agreement between you and Viselia regarding the Service.
• No Agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Viselia.
• Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
• No Waiver.Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver of our right to do so later.
